FanX® Salt Lake Comic Convention™

COSPLAY HALL OF FAME

Since its inception, FanX has strongly been committed to supporting our cosplay community. We hold different cosplay events throughout the year, private movie screenings where we invite people to cosplay as well as giving out free tickets to our event to all cosplayers who attend our press conferences.

We at FanX® Salt Lake Comic Convention™ honor cosplayers who not only exhibit exceptional talent at their craft but also give back to the community. It takes hours of work to create their stunning outfits and we are in awe of what they accomplish. Furthermore, they then go the extra mile for charity work and helping in ways that only they can. They are part of the FanX® family and we recognize their achievements by welcoming them into our Cosplay Hall of Fame.

Only held once a year, fans can nominate anyone of their choosing and give a brief description of how incredible their candidate is. We know that there are many people that do amazing things for others besides just being known for cosplaying and we wanted to give some of those people a spotlight. Let us all look up to the ones who not only have incredible cosplays but also touch the lives and hearts of those around them.

Eric Allen Hall

Eric Allen Hall

Cosplay Hall of Famer SLCC#15

Eric Allan Hall has been cosplaying since 1993. He has about 160 costumes, including the ones he‘s most known for like Mr. Data, Superman, a Borg, Remus Lupin, Nightcrawler, the Joker, Red Skull, Green Goblin, Guy Gardner, Mr. Incredible, and others. He and his cosplays have been featured in documentaries such as "Trek Nation" and "William Shatner’s Get A Life".

Eric was a founding member of HEROIC, a cosplay group that focuses on serving the community by portraying characters at no cost to charities and community functions. He has served three terms as Public Relations Officer.

When not in costume, Eric is a corporate trainer and a dad to his four kids-- you can spot him around town in his minivan decorated like a Starfleet Shuttlecraft.

Marial Clark

Marial Clark

Cosplay Hall of Famer SLCC#16

I started officially cosplaying 3 years ago at the first FanX, but I’ve been involved in theater, dance, and costuming since I was about 3 years old. I’m very active in the charity cosplay community, and now in my second year of being Vice President of Heroic. I really enjoy being able to give back to the community, and being a part of the FanX family.

Robbie Damewood

Robbie Damewood

Cosplay Hall of Famer SLCC#17

Before he even knew he was doing it, Robbie Damewood has been cosplaying. His first time of cosplaying was as a kid when he dressed up as Peter Pan and assumed the identity of the flying boy from Neverland. During junior high and high school he was highly involved in theater which helped him improve his costuming abilities and possibilities. Today he is most well known for his charity work with the Rebel Legion and 501st Legion as Luke Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker. He also uses his cosplaying abilities to help various cub scout packs with their Blue and Gold Banquets every year. He has used everything from his Tom Riddle Prefect for a Harry Potter themed banquet to his Will Turner for a pirate themed banquet. He is always eager to help out those in the cosplay community with their respective costumes or to dress up and brighten the day of someone who needs it. He loves to cosplay and loves to help others out while doing so.
